Although some of the sales started pre-Christmas, now is the opportune moment to do a spot of sale shopping as many brands and companies are reducing a lot of their prices even further! It's the perfect time to pick up some fashion and beauty bargains ready for the new year. I love shopping the sales (even though it's more window shopping this time round), so I thought I'd put my time to good use and create this edit of some of the best bargains still available to shop from the comfort of your own home - no venturing out in the cold, no huge crowds and no need to get out of your pyjamas, win win!

Trend // Art Attack

For decades, designers and fashion houses have taken inspiration from the art world to create their own wearable pieces of art, with collections filled of intricate detailing, geometric patterns and bold colour palettes; paying homage to the art movements of the time such as Art Deco, Minimalism and Pop Art. Art and fashion have always gone hand in hand and this season the lines between the two have truly being blurred to create a hybrid of stand out, daring garments that, in themselves, are works of art that need to be admired. It was inevitable that artistic themes would pop up in the fashion world once again and this season is the time to take risks with your wardrobe and really express your creativity.

The Lust List #1

Window shopping has to be one of my favourite past times, I adore poring over the latest collections, getting a vibe of the various trends du jour and lusting after this season's must have fashion and beauty pieces. So I've decided to create a new series called The Lust List, which is basically going to share with you which hot items I can't take my eyes off no matter how hard I try; items that I need right now in my life and would be willing to sell my soul for to make that happen - or at least empty my bank account. This Lust List is going to focus on the latest fashion and beauty must haves from the new A/W 2013 collections - hot off the press and a few clicks away from being in my wardrobe. Not sure whether this series will be a good or bad thing for my bank accounts, having all my lust-haves in one place could be very tempting indeed!
